| Come spend time in a peaceful, beachfront property. Here you'll be surrounded by sounds of ocean waves and songs of shore birds with a generous dose of California sunshine. Keep your eyes open for dolphins, an occasional whale, and the famous Southern California Grunion which run between March and September. We are the only Long Beach stay with a beach herb garden...just for you. All units are turn-key. They are thoughtfully detailed with your comfort and convenience in mind. Beachside Retreat is a corner beach-facing unit full of windows with a grand ocean view, suitable for up to 6 people. One flight up from the beach affords easy access for year-round enjoyment. A charming beach level and beachfront Guest Suite is a studio ideal for up to 2 people. The Extension opens an adjoining room to convert the studio into a 1 bedroom for more space with an additional sleeping option. Up and Away, a top floor unit with a balcony, is perfect for 2 yet can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people. Units can be reserved individually or combined for larger groups. Beachside Retreat is independent in style. We are not a hotel or bed & breakfast. This is where you come to be free of the hustle and bustle, be anonymous, and be quiet. We have an office to attend to your calls during business hours and of course, we are always available in case of emergency. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by one of our staff for a personalized check-in service. No lock boxes. No fumbling for the light switch.
